VEOLIA, a global leader in water and waste management, partnered with MISC to implement a state-of-the-art automation solution for the ALROBAA Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Egypt. The project required a highly reliable and modern control system to manage the complex processes of the treatment plant, ensuring operational efficiency and data visibility.
Project Scope
- Supply of a complete, redundant Allen Bradley ControlLogix 5572 PLC-based automation system.
- Engineering, manufacturing, and testing of one local control panel with a conformal coated PanelView Plus 7 HMI.
- Supply and configuration of a central SCADA operator station with dual monitors.
- Design and supply of a robust network infrastructure, including fiber optic cabling and unmanaged Ethernet switches.
- Provision of UPS systems for backup power and a comprehensive set of spare parts.
