BORETS- HSP Artificial Lift Control System Supply

Borets, a global leader in artificial lift systems, partnered with MISC for the design and supply of a new, skid-mounted control system for its HSP (High-Slip Motor?) pumps in Egypt. The project required robust, field-ready control cabinets to precisely monitor and control pump operations, integrating with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) for optimized performance.

Project Scope

• Supply of 7 Custom Control Cabinets: Design and manufacturing of three distinct cabinet types (A, B, C) with IP66-rated enclosures for harsh environments.
• Siemens-Based Automation: Integration of PLC systems using S7-300 (for complex Modbus communication) and S7-1200 controllers, each paired with a 7″ HMI for local operator interface.
• End-to-End Engineering: Full system design, including hardware configuration, control algorithm development, HMI screen design, and comprehensive documentation.
• Commissioning Support: Provision of technical personnel for on-site commissioning and startup activities.
