Design, installation and commissioning of SCADA & PLC- based systems divided as follows:
ARAB CONTRACTORS, a leading construction company in the Middle East, selected MISC to deliver a comprehensive, turnkey control and instrumentation solution for the new Belbais Waste Water Plant. This greenfield project required a complete, plant-wide automation system to manage all processes from raw water intake to treated water output, including extensive filter control and full instrumentation.
• Design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a complete Siemens-based automation and SCADA system.
• Supply of six main S7-300 PLC control panels for major process areas (Raw Water, Clarifiers, Treated Water, etc.).
• Supply of twenty-two filter control desks, each with a dedicated S7-1200 compact PLC and local operator interface.
• Implementation of a central SCADA room with three operator workstations and a 62″ large screen for plant-wide monitoring.
• Supply and installation of all field instrumentation, including ultrasonic level/flow transmitters, pressure transmitters, and analytical sensors (pH, Chlorine).
• Establishment of a robust industrial Ethernet and fiber-optic network connecting all system components.
• A fully integrated, centralized control philosophy enabling efficient operation of the entire wastewater treatment process.
• Localized intelligence with 22 individual filter controllers allowing for standalone operation and simplified troubleshooting.
• Comprehensive data acquisition and visualization through a modern SCADA system, replacing traditional mimic panels.
• Single-source responsibility for the entire control and instrumentation loop, ensuring system coherence and simplified project management.
MISC successfully delivered a state-of-the-art automation platform that provided ARAB CONTRACTORS and the end-client with a highly efficient, reliable, and modern wastewater treatment plant. The solution ensured optimal process control, extensive data logging for compliance and optimization, and a user-friendly interface for operators, establishing a new benchmark for plant performance and operational management.
