The Eastern Company, Egypt’s leading tobacco manufacturer, partnered with MISC to modernize and upgrade the blending and storage control system of its tobacco preparation lines. This strategic project was essential to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and scalability for some of the world’s most recognized cigarette brands, like Cleopatra, Mondial, L&M, Merit, and Marlboro.
At the heart of the solution lies advanced Siemens belt scale weighing technology, enabling precise blending of tobacco with roots and flavor additives, all fully automated and aligned with production plans and brand requirements.
With silo capacities ranging from 35 to 50 tons, the upgraded systems ensure reliable storage and on-demand discharge to feed multiple cigarette makers seamlessly.
Through the successful delivery of 11 projects across three factories, MISC strengthened its reputation as a trusted automation partner, driving innovation and operational excellence for one of Egypt’s most iconic industrial companies.
